Instead of presenting the same basic workshop for ENG 111 and ENG 112 students, the librarians at South Piedmont Community College piloted a new method of scaffolding content to cater specifically to ENG 111 and ENG 112 classes. The information covered starts in Information Literacy 101 as basic concepts (presented in ENG 111), which build in Information Literacy 102 (presented in ENG 112). This session will explain how we scaffolded Info. Lit. 101 and 102 workshops and demonstrate how we use LibGuides to present the information so it is always available to students and faculty, and a consistent message, no matter which librarian presents.
